This website is hosted by Cloudflare (Cloudflare Pages). To deliver the pages and protect them against attacks, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the time of access. This is necessary to run the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It sets no cookies, builds no profiles and does not follow you across other websites. We only see totals, such as page views, countries and device types (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
One small cookie (hws_lang) remembers the language you chose. There are no advertising or tracking cookies. Fonts and videos load from this website, not from other companies.
The preview form stores nothing on this website. It opens WhatsApp or your email app with a prepared message, and you decide there whether to send it. Messages reach us through WhatsApp (WhatsApp Ireland Ltd.) or by email (Google). We use your name, contact details, website address and the photos on your website only to answer you, make your preview and carry out your order (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We don't pass your data on to anyone else and never sell it.
We sometimes write to hotels, guesthouses and restaurants at the business email address they publish themselves, to offer a free sample: one email, and at most one short reminder in the same thread if there is no answer. We use only the business name, the published email address and the website (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). If you reply "no" or ask us to stop, we will never write again; we keep your address only on our do-not-contact list so that it stays that way.
Enquiries are deleted once they are no longer needed, at the latest two years after our last contact. Invoices are kept as long as the law requires (10 years in Slovakia).
You can ask what data we hold about you, and have it corrected, deleted, restricted or handed over to you, and you can object to its use. Just write to [email protected]. You can also complain to a data protection authority, for example the Slovak Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov (dataprotection.gov.sk) or the authority in your country.
